Less than a month remains before we can get our hands on the upcoming game from Platinum Games, NieR Automata. Fans are very excited for the sequel but many fans also want a remaster of the first Nier game and according to the devs, there is a possibility of NieR Remaster.
Recently, Square Enix held a Q&A with NieR creator Yoko Taro, where a fan asked if there is a possibility of NieR Remaster or re-release? According to Yoko Taro, There is a “very high possibility if NieR Automata sells like hotcakes, yes”.
That is not all Platinum Games has promised if the game sells like hotcakes. Previously, producer Yosuke Saito confirmed that the Platinum Games is considering to release NieR Automata to Xbox One. However, he added that the decision will be based upon the success of the game for PS4 and PC.
NieR Automata will also feature an Auto-Mode, which lets players sit back and let the AI complete battles for them. But it will only be available for easy difficulty.
When turned on, the Auto-Mode will allow AI to attack and defend on its own without needing any external assistance. Players, however, must upgrade their weapons/gadgets constantly to aid the AI in some way.
Platinum Games has also confirmed that NieR Automata will take 25 hours to complete. However, according to Yosuke Saito, when he told this to the development team back in Japan, they said no it will take longer than that to complete the game.
NieR Automata is an action RPG is development at Platinum Games and is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2017, for PC and PlayStation 4.
