Nier Automata is one of the hotly anticipated games of 2017. The title is releasing soon on PlayStation 4 and PC. Platinum Games have worked hard on this title and that hard work will soon be in our hands in the form of Nier Automata.
Nier Automata is a massive game and that will take us over 50 hours to complete. Yes, that is 50+ hours of action in Nier Automata. The developers have added a range of activities for the player to do that will keep us busy for a while.
Producer Yosuke Saito stated during an AMA:
To get to the true ending, the team tells me around 25 hours. For completionists, it’ll be around 55 to 60 hours.
Meanwhile, he said the following about the game having multiple endings.
Of course, but they won’t be unlocked in the same way as the previous game. You’ll have to figure out how to get them on your own
Having multiple endings adds value to the game, giving us more for our second or third playthrough. You can pick up Nier Automata for PS4 and PC on March 7.
On a related note, devs aren’t ruling out a Nintendo Switch version of Nier Automata.
Takihisa Taura had the following to say regarding NieR Nintendo Switch:
From our perspective in PlatinumGames, if Square Enix pays us to do it, we’ll make you a version for the Switch, we’ll make you a version for the Super Nintendo if you want, anything you ask for.
