The ASUS GTX 1070 Expedition has a dual fan design and you can see that the red and black looks really great. The shroud is made of aluminum so it will be light and sturdy at the same time. All in all the ASUS GTX 1070 Expedition is a great card, from specs and the looks and the only drawback that I see here is that there is no backplate which is something that is becoming more and more common nowadays.

The specifications of the ASUS GTX 1070 Expedition are as follows:

  • Video memory: 8 GB GDDR5 256-bit

ASUS GTX 1070 Expedition

The 10 series GPUs have seen a lot of success due to the price to performance benefits that these GPUs offer. No wonder manufacturers are pushing out so many version even after so long. We are still getting new versions of the GTX 1080 and the GTX 1070. GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti laptops have also started coming out and they are great as they bring the prices of budget gaming laptops down to the $800 mark. Indeed it is a great time to get into PC building and PC gaming. There has never been a better time.

We still have no news regarding the pricing and availability of this GPU but looking at what we already know it should be in the same price range as all the other non-reference design GTX 1070s. Let us know what you think about the ASUS GTX 1070 Expedition
