Earlier this week, Xbox announced that members of its Insiders program would be able to get a sneak peek at its new update, Now, at the week’s midpoint, more Xbox One Creators Update features are going to be coming for the insiders to see, including Beam Streaming and more.
Beam Streaming is a new, built-in streaming service on the Xbox One and Windows 10 computers that allows live streamers to be able to stream with just under one second of delay, allowing a new level of interaction with their audiences, not just with the much lessened delay time, but also with the ability to do things like add sound boards.
There’s even more Xbox One Creators Update features than that, however. For instance, the Creators Update will also include a “game mode”, which helps your Windows 10 computer to optimize to play games at the highest level that it can, something that’s simple as hitting the Windows key and the “G” key together and hitting the “Settings” option.
A gaming section, along with a revamped and improved Cortana system, will also be coming with the new features that are coming with the Creators Update. Each of these various updates will be helping the Windows 10 PC to have a better gaming experience, which is especially good considering that the Xbox One’s Play Anywhere program is likely only going to keep growing as Microsoft releases more games for the Xbox One.
While there’s likely going to be even more Xbox One Creators Update features displayed in the coming days or weeks, it may be a while before we actually see everything that the update has to offer for games on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
In the meantime, if you’re not a member of the Xbox Insiders program, you’ll just have to wait until the update comes out for everyone else.
