Hearthstone is hosting a Boss Battle Royale for this week’s Tavern Brawl, bringing together some of the strongest dungeon bosses from the Warcraft universe.
Picking a class during the event means playing with a corresponding dungeon boss, each of which comes equipped with a unique hero power that has never been seen in Hearthstone before. Accompanying that is of course a predefined deck of cards and a bit of luck.
The interesting aspect of this week’s Tavern Brawl is that you’ll be fighting against real people. Those who have been enjoying Boss Battle Royale as a mere single-player experience, know that you’re not playing against an enemy AI. Behind every dungeon boss that you face, lies a warm blooded human player.
Here’s a breakdown of all the classes and corresponding dungeon bosses for this week’s event, as well as the new hero powers.
Druid – Razorgore, the Untamed
(1 Mana: The Rookery) Give all Corrupted Eggs +1 Health, then summon one.
Hunter – Skelesaurus Hex
(0 Mana: Ancient Power) Give each player a random card that costs 0.
Mage: The Curator
(Passive: Gallery Protection) Your hero has Taunt.
Paladin – The White King
(2 Mana: Castle) Discover a chess piece
Priest – Gothik, the Harvester
(2 Mana: Harvest) Draw a card.
Rogue – Grobbulus
(2 Mana: Poison Cloud) Deal 1 damage to all minions. If any die, summon a 2/2 Slime.
Shaman: Lady Naz’jar
(Passive: Pearl of the Tides) At the end of your turn, replace all minions with new ones that cost 1 more.
Warlock: Noth, the Plaguebringer
(Passive: Raise Dead) Whenever an enemy minion dies, summon a 1/1 Skeleton.
Warrior – The Grim Guzzler
(2 Mana: Pile On!) Put a minion from each deck onto the battlefield.
This makes it the third week in a row that Blizzard has released a fairly entertaining and fun-filled Tavern Brawl for the Hearthstone community. We can only hope that the streak extends to next week as well.
