Resident Evil 7 hasn’t even been out a full day and already Capcom has announced the first DLC that players will be able to get for it, as a timed exclusive on the Playstation 4. The Resident Evil 7 DLC, known as “Banned Footage Volume 1”, will have a number of new game modes in it when it comes out at the end of this month.
In this case, the first Resident Evil 7 DLC will have two different chapters, along with an extra mode. To start with, we have the Bedroom scenario. In it, players will have to sneakily make their way out of a bedroom without alerting Marguerite Baker, the woman of the Baker couple and one of the psychotic hillbillies that serve as enemies in the game, to the fact that you’re out of bed. Next comes the Nightmare scenario, where you have to hold off waves of enemies until daylight comes.
When it comes to the extra mode of the Resident Evil 7 DLC, players will also be able to get third mode in the form of “Ethan Must Die”, described as a “tough-as-nails” mode separate from the tapes and story of the main game. While we don’t know what that means yet, we do know that there’s also a Banned Footage Volume 2.
In that DLC, players have three other modes as well. The first is 21, where players must gamble life and limb in a deadly game run by Lucas Baker, the son of the Baker family. However, it’s not all bad. Apparently in the second mode, called “Daughters”, players will be able to go back in time and see how the Baker family was before everything went to hell.
However, that still leaves the special mode for the second part of this Resident Evil 7 DLC, called “Jack’s 55th Birthday”. Unlike the horrific other modes for the game, in this one players must instead feed Jack Baker as much food as they can to celebrate his 55th birthday.
