Intel Kaby Lake E3-1200 v6 Xeon Specifications, Leaked
Intel having done with their mainstream Kaby Lake series, they tilt the focus towards Intel Kaby Lake E3-1200 v6 Xeon professional CPUs. Intel is readying LGA1151 processors for workstations and low end servers. The Workstation class Kaby Lake series will be branded as Xeon E3-1200 v6, and they are expected to launch later this quarter. The new information on specifications confirms the data which was leaked back in August 2016.
The upcoming Intel Kaby Lake E3-1200 v6 Xeon features the new 14nm+ process that roughly means higher clock speeds and lower thermal design power (TDP) number. Furthermore, with new design the TDP drops from 80W to 73-72W depending on if the CPU comes with an integrated graphics processor (IGP) or not. Clock speeds also getting significant boost of 200 MHz in most models, regardless of the peak turbo frequency.
The leaked specification of Intel Kaby Lake E3-1200 v6 Xeon Specifications are based on two variants. One, the CPUs with integrated graphics processor and second without IGP. Three of the leaked models are reported to come with IGP which are Xeon E3-1225 v6, E3-1245 v6 and E3-1275 v6.
According to leaked source, they are reported to come with HD P630 graphics. Models without the GPU are Xeon E3-1220 v6, E3-1230 v6, E3-1240 v6, E3-1270 v6 and E3-1280 v6. Further details are listed below.

What changes in leaked lineup is the fact that in past, E3 lineup has been focused on way to get an i7 level quad core with hyperthreading for cheaper. Even currently, the v5 series is $25 cheaper than i7-6700, ironically, both perform about the same. It is yet to see how far the upcoming Intel Kaby Lake E3-1200 v6 Xeon lineup series can go.
