Halo Wars 2 Open Beta has arrived on Windows 10 Store so you can head over there right now and download. Halo Wars 2 open beta will let players try out the Blitz mode that combines card-based strategy with explosive combat.
The beta is 12GB in size so it wouldn’t take much space in your HDDs. The beta is exclusive to Windows 10 PCs so as soon as you click here you will be taken to the built-in store on your PC.
Blitz is a new, innovative and action-packed twist on RTS gameplay that combines card-based strategy with explosive combat. Your card deck is your army in Blitz as you build collections of powerful Halo vehicles and troops and command those units in fast-action battles.
Download and play the Halo Wars 2: Blitz Beta from January 20 – 30, only on Xbox One and Windows 10. *Broadband internet (ISP fees apply) and Xbox Live Gold membership (sold separately) required for multiplayer play on Xbox One. All progress and content will no longer be available after January 30, 2017.
Halo Wars 2 is an RTS game in development at 343 Industries and is scheduled to launch on February 21, 2017, for PC and Xbox One.
On a related note, 343i confirmed that there won’t be any pay to win microtransactions in Halo Wars 2. Concerns over Microtransactions once again popped its head when we came to know that Halo Wars 2 will have microtransactions. Thankfully, Halo Wars 2 microtransactions are handled correctly, at least that’s what they claim.
