2017 Is Going To Be A Fun Year With “New Experiences And Different IPs”, Says Phil Spencer

Microsoft had a rough start this year with the cancellation of Scalebound. The company got a lot of heat from the gamers who were looking forward to it, but the company is very optimistic about its future. According to Phil Spencer, Xbox One titles this year will be different and new experiences.

While replying to a fan on Twitter, Xbox Head Phil Spencer said that there will no Halo or Gears Of War game this year for Xbox One but there will be different and new experiences.

It seems that Microsoft will be revealing new games for Xbox One most probably at E3 2017.

The gaming community was quite upset over the cancellation of Scalebound by Microsoft as the company did not reveal any specific reason for the cancellation. But Phil Spencer has assured fans that the company will keep taking risks.

Spencer also said that the cancellation of the Scalebound will not stop Microsoft from signing deals with third party studios and at the same time acknowledged that first party studios are crucial if they want to be successful.

Aside from the exclusive games for Xbox One, gamers are also looking forward towards the reveal of Xbox One Scorpio which is scheduled to launch in Holiday 2017. Many are expecting that Microsoft will reveal the upcoming console at E3 2017.
