Nintendo Switch games lineup is being discussed across the internet right now. We are seeing some criticism over the number of games for the machine’s launch. There are only five games and only one of the five has generated any sort of buzz, The Legend of Zelda.
Why is there so little content for Nintendo Switch? According to Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo Switch is about the steady flow of content. Nintendo will spread its content throughout the year rather than put all of its eggs in the launch basket.
Speaking with CNET, Reggie stated the following when asked about the lack of content for the launch.
Launch day is not the be-all and the end-all. It really is the steady pacing of content that continually reinforces for the people who bought into the platform why they made a smart choice, as well as what compels people who might be sitting on the sidelines to jump in. We feel we have this great ongoing march of content to motivate you to jump into the platform
Following the release of the console/handheld, Nintendo will provide more content.
