Nintendo Switch is releasing in March and throughout this year we are expecting a steady follow of games from Nintendo and Third party studios. There are so many games we are looking forward to this year but some of them have us a little too excited for Nintendo Switch.

According to Nintendo, there are over 80 games in development for Nintendo Switch. However, below are SegmentNext’s most anticipated titles.

Most Anticipated Nintendo Switch Games of 2017


ARMS aims to create an entirely new genre for fighting games. It uses fighting machines and asks you to have aiming skills of a shooter. Players can equip themselves with a couple of extendable arms, and then use a mix of button presses and hand motions to smash your opponents face.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the definitive version of Mario Kart 8. It is one of the most anticipated for Nintendo Switch that allows you to race with your friends and enemies anywhere you want. The ultimate mobile racing game!

Splatoon 2

Well, what can we say about Splatoon that hasn’t been said before? The most fun and non-violent shooter game ever made. One of the best Wii U games is getting a sequel on Nintendo Switch; Splatoon 2 is coming folks!

Fire Emblem Warriors

Nothing much is known about this game for the time being but we do know that Koei Tecmo is doing a cross over of Dynasty Warriors and Fire Emblem.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

The first game was enough to blow us away and for a while, we had the itch for a sequel. Rumors were found in abundance but nothing concrete ever appeared. Thankfully, Nintendo Switch presentation came with good news.

Shin Megami Tensei

A new game is coming to Nintendo Switch and we couldn’t more excited. However, the new Shin Megami Tensie game is not coming to the west. The good news is that Nintendo Switch is region free *wink wink”

Super Bomberman R

Bomberman was a disaster on Xbox 360 but Super Bomberman R looks to revitalize the series with new features and a storyline on Nintendo Switch.

Project Octopath Traveler
