Ubisoft has announced that For Honor closed beta is coming this month, from Januray 26-29, on consoles and PC. You can sign up here and cross your fingers for a chance to play.
This beta will feature a new mode called War of the Factions, in which Vikings, samurai and knights will fight each other for rewards and honor, thanks to a tracking system that will take note of all players’ activities.
For Honor will receive DLCs, as stated by Ubisoft, but they will be given free.
This is what game director Damien Kieken has shared during a recent interview.
Everything that concerns matchmaking, like maps and modes, will be free for everyone. We’ll also have other free content coming to this game. We are a great team that will keep supporting this game even after launch.
Even if DLCs will be given for free, Ubisoft will probably follow publish some paid content, like skins and stuff like that.
Also, when talking with PCGamesN, the company has officially claimed that For Honor will be an always-online experience.
We can confirm that For Honor is an always-online game. Some elements of the hosted online progression are shared across the story and multiplayer modes. This game will require an internet connection in order to be played.
This choice won’t make everyone happy, since a lot of players don’t have an internet connection and they would prefer to play offline instead.
Keep the date, For Honor closed beta is coming later this month!
For Honor is an action hack and slash videogame developed by Ubisoft Montreal for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will launch on February 14, 2017.
