Horizon Zero Dawn is over a month away from launch and gamers are very excited about it. While the pre-orders for the game are live it seems that the pre-orders for the game in Japan are below company’s expectations as Sony is offering a free Horizon Zero Dawn Limited Edition Upgrade in Japan.
This free Horizon Zero Dawn Limited Edition Upgrade will be for both digital and physical versions. Anyone who pre-orders that game in Japan before the game’s release will be offered this free upgrade. The digital version of the Horizon Zero Dawn Limited Edition includes:
- Nora Lookout Outfit + Bow + Nora Machine Trapper Pack
- Carja Storm Ranger Outfit + Bow + Carja Trader Pack
- Banuk Trailblazer Outfit + Bow + Banuk Traveler Pack
- Exclusive PS4 Theme
- Digital Artbook “The Art of Horizon Zero Dawn”
The physical version will include everything from the digital version in addition to an artbook. Both physical and digital versions are available for 6,900 yen ($59).
It does not come as a surprise that Sony Interactive Entertainment is doing its best to promote the game and this is not the first time that the company has offered this kind of deal for the Japanese audience.
Horizon Zero Dawn seems like a promising RPG but the developer did not intend it as an RPG game from the start. According to Mathis de Jonge, director of Horizon Zero Dawn, the development team did want to make the game open world but did not intended to develop an RPG from the start but it happened organically during the course of the development.
Horizon Zero Dawn is an upcoming action-adventure RPG in development at Guerrilla Games and will launch on February 28, 2017, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
