New PlayStation 4 Accessories Unveiled By Nyko At CES 2017
Third party manufacturer, Nyko, for Sony’s PlayStation 4 has revealed a line of PlayStation 4 accessories for the PlayStation 4 slim, PSVR and PlayStation 4 Pro.
PSVR has received two new charging accessories while the console both Pro and slim versions have received a Data Bank Pro add-on. These PlayStation 4 accessories were revealed at CES 2017.
Starting with PSVR, the VR headset has received two accessories namely Charge Block and Charge Link. Charge Block is a simple drop and charge solution for PlayStation Move Motion controllers. This block can be plugged into any wall outlet or USB port for charging.
Charge Block can also be connected to multiple Charge Blocks “from different platforms to create a clean, universal charging system for all your gaming needs”. Charge Block will be available later this year for $19.99.
The second accessory for PSVR is Charge Link which is “a 10-foot USB Y-shaped charging cable that enables simultaneous charging of both PSVR controllers”.
The Micro-USB cable is universal and can charge any device that uses a standard USB port. Charge Link for PSVR will be available in 2017 for an MSRP of $14.99.
Last but not the least is Data Bank Pro for PlaySttaion 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 Pro. This PlayStation 4 accessory allows the expansion of the internal memory by allowing the use of an additional 3.5-inch hard drive.
This accessory plugs into the hard drive bay through included SATA adapter and USB cable. Once the users install their drive along with Data Bank Pro they can swap between the two with a simple switch flip.
The versatile design allows the Data Bank to rest on top of the PS4 or alongside it so that it can be used in both the vertical and horizontal positions. It also has a dedicated AC cord to power the drive, so it avoids pulling additional power from the console. Data Bank Pro will be available in 2017 for an MSRP of $39.99.
Those who are attending the CES 2017 can try out these PlayStation 4 accessories till Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Nyko’s exhibition suite.
