Owning a high-end PC but finding out that the game you wish to play has a capped frame rate is the worse feeling. Not being able to go beyond 60 FPS is frustrating for someone who owns a powerful graphics card.
Thankfully, most PC games come with an uncapped frame rate but often AAA titles are locked to stabilize performance. However, this year at least one AAA game won’t have that issues, Mass Effect: Andromeda.
EA has confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda PC will have an uncapped frame rate. What you need is a strong card and you can go as high as you wish to. Of course, it is going to be a demanding game so a high-end card would be needed to go over 60.
Meanwhile, console versions are going to be locked at 30 FPS with a resolution of 900p (Xbox One) and 1080p (PS4). Mass Effect: Andromeda is releasing on March 21 on consoles and PC.
EA has announced 2 different special editions for the game.
Mass Effect: Andromeda Deluxe Edition and Super Deluxe Edition have been detailed by EA. The company announced a number of different contents for these moderately expensive variants. All three variants of the game – Base, Deluxe, Super Deluxe – will be available on all platforms.
