Issues With Halo The Master Chief Collection Might Still Get Fixed
Halo is one of the most popular exclusives for Xbox and back in 2014 fans of the franchise were very excited for Halo The Master Chief Collection until it released with horrible matchmaking and server issues. While the issues have been largely fixed but still the issue lingers for some players.
However, 343 Industries is well aware of the issues and if you are one of those players who still plays Halo The Master Chief Collection then you will be happy to know that the studio might be fixing the issues after all. According to 343’s community manager, Brian Jarrard:
There are a lot of legitimate issues and while it’s unfortunate that some people have been driven to such extreme measures of expressing their dissatisfaction it doesn’t mean the game isn’t without its problems.
He added that the developers are still considering the game and are looking to solve the issues.
I wouldn’t say the ship has totally sailed yet. Conversations are still being had, assessments are still being made, and at a minimum I hope to make good on my pledge to either give fans a legitimate status update or, barring that, face it head on and even if it’s not the news everyone wants, accept it and move forward.
Next game in the Halo franchise will be Halo War 2 which is in development at 343 Industries and will launch in February 2017. However, this is not the only project that the studio is working on as the studio has teased a new project.
While this new project will be another entry in the Halo franchise is not yet known, but we will know for sure once the devs reveal it.
Halo The Master Chief Collection includes all of the remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and the standard editions of Halo 3 and Halo 4 and is only available for Xbox One.
