EVGA has been losing come customers due to heating issues with their cards that caused some cards to catch fire. 2016 was not a great year for tech and we saw GPUs and smartphones catching fire and even exploding. But EVGA seems to be trying to redeem itself and making up for their negligence. EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 and EVGA GTX 1070 FTW2 have been spotted at CES 2017 and these cards feature the new iCS coolers.
EVGA had been badly affected by the heating issues in their GTX 10 series cards but now the company has learned from its mistakes and is trying to make up for it. The new iCS coolers are a slight improvement over the previous ACX 3.0 cooling solution that was previously being used. Surely the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 and EVGA GTX 1070 FTW2 have gone through some testing before they have been displayed.
As of right now we do not know anything about the pricing and availability of the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 and EVGA GTX 1070 FTW2 GPUs, but I am sure they will be coming out soon. Exact specifications have also not been disclosed yet but rest assured that EVGA will be making a comeback as the company wants their fans back.
What do you think about the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 and EVGA GTX 1070 FTW2?
