Resident Evil 7 is taking the series back to its roots of survival horror. It is exactly what the doctor ordered for the series and Capcom has delivered. The demo recently released on PC and its reception is overwhelmingly positive right now. Same was the case when it arrived on PlayStation 4.
Resident Evil 7 is releasing soon across all major platforms including PlayStation VR. It is less action oriented and more like the old Resident Evil. According to Capcom, Resident Evil 7 won’t be easy to complete, there are multiple options and ways to complete the game while being hunted by monsters.
Capcom claims that it is the most difficult game in the game.
We wanted to focus more on the aspect of fear. We were worried that if the game is too easy and these enemy encounters are not too big of a deal, players are not going to feel that tension, not going to feel that anxiety. We wanted to make sure that even if you’re pitted up in a one on one situation, that one enemy is capable of killing you.
It sounds live surviving is all we need to think about in Resident Evil 7. If try to kill your way out of the house, it won’t end well. Resident Evil 7 will hit PlayStationn 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24, 2017. Pre-orders are live in all regions so grab a copy to play the game on release day.
