Echo Fox is entering the competitive fighting games circuit in a massive way this year. In one fell swoop, the esports organization picked up multiple titans of the fighting game community.
Street Fighter V icons Justin “JWong” Wong, Yusuke “Momochi” Momochi, Yuko “ChocoBlanka” Momochi, and Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi have agreed to play under the Echo Fox banner. From Mortal Kombat X, legend Dominique “SonicFox” McLean and Brad “Scar” Vaughn have jumped on board. Finally, Super Smash Bros. player Leonardo “MKLeo” Lopez Perez rounds up the organization’s monstrous roster.
In addition to all of that, Echo Fox has also signed former Evil Geniuses FGC manager Antonio Javier. It’s worth noting that Wong, Momochi, and ChocoBlanka parted ways with Evil Geniuses just yesterday. It has now been cleared that they did so in order to take up the new offer.

“From day one, our goal has always been to build the premier esports organization in the world, setting the new standard for professionalism, team achievement and player development and wellness,” said CEO Rick Fox to Yahoo Esports. “Today’s announcement demonstrates our willingness to think big, think global and execute a strategic battle plan.”
Together, the seven players bring a wealth of experience. All of them are synonymous with dominance and tournament achievements. Wong, especially, is a valuable acquisition on the part of Echo Fox. Besides Street Fighter, he has also proven himself in Marvel vs. Capcom. Known as one of the Gods of Marvel during his time with Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, you can be certain that Wong will also be representing his new team in the upcoming installment of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
The formation of a Super Team appears to be just the beginning for Echo Fox. According to Javier, there are other major announcements in the bag and which will be revealed soon.
