Fans of the Crash Bandicoot games were asking for the remastered versions of these classic titles for some time and Sony revealed the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy during the PlayStation Experience event. However, no release date has been announced officially for it but according to a retailer, the game will release in February.
According to a Brazillian retailer, Zillion Games, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy will release on February 28, 2017. However, this does not make any sense, since less than two months remain which does not leave a lot of time for Activision to properly market the game.
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is being developed by Vicarious Visions. However, this is not the only game they are developing as the studio has partnered with Bungie to work on Destiny 2.
Vicarious Visions is excited to announce that we are partnering with Bungie to further expand the Award-Winning Destiny Universe.
Destiny 2 is also expected to launch this year, which means Vicarious Visions will be very busy working on two games.
Recently, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg revealed that Destiny 2 is on track for release in fall 2017 and further added that the developers are looking to appeal not only the existing fans but to widen its audience.
We’re on track and excited about what we think is going to be an awesome sequel for Destiny in 2017.the sequel is designed to excite both our highly engaged current players, but also to broaden the appeal even further, bringing in new fans and bringing back old fans as well.
He further said that the developers could not keep up with the demand of content for the first game, but together they have come up with a new approach to keep a steady stream of content going.
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is in development exclusively for PlayStation 4 and no release date has been announced for the game.
