Just over a month remains before Resident Evil 7 launches and Capcom has geared up its efforts to market the game. Now Capcom has released a new Resident Evil 7 commercial for the Japanese market.
This new 30 seconds long Resident Evil 7 commercial is filled with jump scares. This commercial gives us a glimpse of what fans can expect from the game. Also, at the end of the video wee see the old lady in the wheelchair about which Capcom has not revealed anything and she pops up in different places in the game.
I believe this old woman has a big role to play or a plot twist involving her, but this is just speculation and we will know for sure when the game is released.
Resident Evil 6 was somewhat of a disappointment for the Resident Evil fans and Capcom aims to gain the trust of the fans back with Resident Evil 7 by taking the franchise back to its survival horror roots.
One aspect of survival horror genre is that the weapons and ammo are very scarce which was not the case in Resident Evil 6. Capcom will be taking the series back to its roots with Resident Evil 7 but there will be weapons in the game, however, they will not be easy to find.
Also, Capcom has revealed the graphical setting of the game for the PC version. According to Capcom, they are working really hard and putting in “extra care and love in optimizing the PC demo to ensure an awesome experience for our PC fans”. Resident Evil 7 PC graphical settings include rendering method, resolution scaling, texture quality and much more.
Resident Evil 7 is a first-person horror survival game in development at Capcom and is scheduled to launch on January 24, 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
