Daymare 1998 is a survival horror game in development at Invader Studios. While nothing much is known about the game the developers have revealed the first Daymare 1998 gameplay footage.
Daymare 1998, as the name suggests the game is set in the 90s where a small community in northwest America has descended into sickening violence and nobody knows why. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and the core gameplay is very similar to Resident evil 4 and 5. According to the devs:
Daymare: 1998 is a third person survival horror game with over the shoulder camera, developed in Unreal Engine 4 for Windows PC. The game features high-end graphics, original soundtrack, immersive atmosphere, hardcore survival mechanics and many connections with the beloved old school survival horror games and ’90s landmark brands.
Daymare 1998 gameplay starts off with a character coming out of an elevator of building that seems to be abandoned or there has been a massacre. The character investigates the area and it is full of jump scares.
Invader Studios will also launch a Kickstarter for the game in 2017 and those of you interested can follow the development of the game through the game’s official website.
