Many of the Pokemon fans might remember buddy Pokemon functionality which is a largely popular aspect of Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver which allowed players to let their Pokemon follow them wherever they go.
Since that game fans have asked developers to bring it back but Game Freak did not introduce it in any of the games that followed.
However, one curious data miner has data mined Pokemon Sun And Moon’s game files and found that each creature in the game has a low-polygon-count model with walking and running animations. This might be an indication that we will see buddy Pokemon back in the franchise.
Also, there is another rumor making rounds on the internet that Pokemon Sun And Moon is being developed for Nintendo Switch. According to the report, this version is already in development at Game Freak and will launch in 2017 under the name of Pokémon Stars.
Pokemon Sun And Moon is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak for Nintendo 3DS.
