Kim “Olleh” Joo-sung has been picked up to fill the remaining Support position; thus, bringing an end to the pre-season Immortals roster changes.
The former Hong Kong Esports support player is replacing Adrian “Adrian” Ma who parted ways with Immortals last month to join Phoenix1 for the 2017 spring split North American League Championship Series (NA LCS).
According to an ESPN report, Olleh was part of a large group that tried out for the support role. An extensive tryout session saw various players show their interest. This includes Kang “GorillA” Beom-hyeon, Lee “Piccaboo” Jong-beom, Kim “Pure” Jin-sun, Raymond “kaSing” Tsang and Oskar “VandeR” Bogdan. Olleh was the one who Immortals considered the better option to complete the bottom-lane.
Immortals is scheduled to play IEM Gyeonggi in South Korea tomorrow and where Olleh will make his debut with his new team. The North American esports organization will face J Team from LMS, the former Taipei Assassins.
Olleh began his professional League of Legends career in 2013 with KT Rolster Arrows. A year later, the young ambitious lad left Korea for Brazil in order to be part of Pain Gaming. This year, he traveled across the globe to join Hong Kong Esports and play in the LMS. Now, he has the opportunity to represent North America in the NA LCS.
The past couple of months have been difficult for Immortals. Almost all of its roster took up offers from other organizations. Even its head coach made an exit. Among rumors of disbandment, Immortals stuck true to its name and signed up new players.
The following is the final League of Legends lineup for the team, signaling an end to the pre-season Immortals roster changes:
