Death Stranding engine is something that’s been a topic of hot debate among Kojima fans. Hideo Kojima usually discusses his engine in detail, he did so with MGS V, and same is the case with Death Stranding Engine
Dubbed as Decima, the engine belongs to Guerilla Games.
Hideo Kojima shared a few images on his official Twitter page that showed a reconstruction of Kojima’s office.

According to Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding engine “enables us to go to the mars but even to the Jupiter.” Kojima further stated that Guerilla Games’ engine is perfectly suited for their needs of creating a better and open world game.
Death Stranding is releasing on PlayStation 4 and there is some talk of PC version as well. However, developers have been silent over the PC version of Death Stranding.
The latest trailer for Death Stranding was revealed at The Game Awards 2016. The footage teases the idea of the multiverse, different dimensions, and even time travel. However, at this point, we can not even begin to make sense of what’s going on.
Death Stranding is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro sometime in 2018. Kojima spoke at TGS and announced that Death Stranding will be out before 2020. He mentioned that it will be out before the year Akira is set in. Akira is a film that is set in 2019 so by that reasoning, Death Stranding should be released in 2018.
