User KazoWAR has found an unused hidden Pokémon feature in the Sun and Moon’s source code. These games, in fact, contain animations with Pokémon walking alongside the player.
This Pokémon feature isn’t a new entry in the franchise, but it was left out of Sun and Moon because 3DS wasn’t able to handle with such animations, especially the old model of this console.
Moreover, it was a hard work for the team to design animations for every Pokémon that’s in the game, so they probably decided to get rid of it.
Anyhow, Pokémon Stars, a sort of “remaster” being developed for Nintendo Switch, will probably have this feature because of its powerful hardware.
However, Pokémon Sun and Moon was the biggest Nintendo’s launch in the UK.
According to Eurogamer’s Tom Philips Twitter profile, Sun and Moon launch in the UK was bigger than any Wii or Pokémon game ever released there.
Pokémon Sun And Moon sold in one day the same units Wii Fit managed to sell in 2 weeks.
Pokémon Sun and Moon are Nintendo’s biggest ever UK launch. Bigger than any Wii game, even. Incredible.

This probably happened because of the Pokémon GO Mania, that has helped Nintendo getting new fans.
The Pokémon franchise is getting bigger and bigger, and we are curious to see what path Gamefreak and Nintendo will follow with the next installment in the franchise.
What are your thoughts?
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are already available for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS, while Pokémon Stars is under development.
