Final Fantasy XV has launched for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with stellar reviews and Square Enix intends to support the game with new content and features. 2017 will see the 30th Anniversary of Final Fantasy and Square Enix intends to celebrate it by launching Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection.
According to the report from VGleaks, Square Enix will launch Final Fantasy VII Remake (first episode) and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age as main games to celebrate the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary.

The company also intends to launch Final Fantasy XIII trilogy for PlayStation 4. The bundle will include Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns and will be available on separate discs and will run at 1080p at 60 FPS.
Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary collection will include Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX. These games will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. This collection will include two versions of Final Fantasy I – VI, the original versions from NES/SNES and modern ports.
Final Fantasy II and III will receive official English translation for the first time. These games will be based on the Japanese versions so we will be able to play the parts that were originally cut when they first released in the West.
Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary collection will include a built-in art gallery and sound test menu to play songs from the games.
There will be three versions of this collection, a Regular version, Collector’s Edition and Crystal Complete Edition. The regular version will include all games with posters and Collector’s Edition will include “Games, poster, art book, 8-bit Black Mage keychain, Chocobo plush and two discs with a selection of songs chosen by Nobuo Uematsu”.
Crystal Complete Edition will be available in limited quantities and will include “Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection titles (FF I to IX), Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy, Final Fantasy XV (and all DLC), Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (including all expansions + a 3 month subscription). Special items for Final Fantasy XI Mobile and Final Fantasy XIV will be included as well”.
Crystal Complete Edition will also include physical items including “all the content included in the Collector’s Edition, two extra discs for the soundtrack, a crystal necklace, a Moogle plush, a Black Mage statue, all three Final Fantasy Trading Card Game starter decks, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV and Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV. Everything will be packed in a luxury chest decorated with the Final Fantasy logo”.
The report also suggests that Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection will be available in North America as for the other region it is still unknown.
Square Enix has not forgotten about the PC players as the report suggests that Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions and Chrono Trigger could be released for PC by the end of 2017.
Most interestingly those waiting for Final Fantasy XV to launch for PC the report suggests that Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XV will launch for PC in mid-2018.
