Final Fantasy XV has launched and not only the game got stellar reviews but Final Fantasy XV sales for have been very good as it has sold over 5 million units on its launch day. Now GFK Chart-Track has revealed something interesting about the game’s sale in the UK.
According to the firm, every four out of five copies sold in UK in last week were sold for PlayStation 4. 79 percent of physical Final Fantasy XV sales during the first week in the UK were on PlayStation 4 and Xbox one accounted for just 21 percent.
PlayStation 4 has been the best selling console this generation which led Final Fantasy XV to be the best selling game on Sony’s console. Final Fantasy XV is currently the sixth best selling game on Xbox One coming in behind Forza Horizon 3, FIFA 17, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Minecraft: Xbox Edition and Battlefield 1.
However, Square Enix is not yet done with the game as the company has announced the upcoming Holiday Pack DLC which will include a new Game Plus mode and the ability to cap the level of the party so that players can challenge themselves.
Holiday Pack DLC will be available for free to those who have purchased the game and those who have the season pass will get an upgraded version of the DLC pack titled Holiday Pack+. This DLC pack will decorate the cities for the holidays and will bring more content.
Also, rumor is making rounds on the internet suggesting that 2017 will see the 30th Anniversary of Final Fantasy and Square Enix intends to celebrate it by launching Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection.
The rumor also suggests that Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy VII will launch for PC in mid-2018.
