Dev Reveals An Interesting Feature That Never Made it to Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1 is an incredible game with breathtaking visuals and fun gameplay. However, there are some features that were cut from the final version, including the shovel being used to dig trenches.
Recently, one Redditor named WWIflyingace62 posted a suggestion that Battlefield 1 should include shovel’s intended function which is digging. With this feature, players would be able to dig trenches and cause the opposing team to rethink their strategy.
Fortunately, a DICE developer named Maars_DICELA read the post and made a somewhat shocking reveal. Turns out, DICE did include this feature but it was removed from the final game due to its weirdness. He also revealed that this feature might be included in the game again.
Recently, DICE released an update for Battlefield 1 after which some players reported that the game has been downgraded on PlayStation 4 Pro. Well, DICE has finally opened up about it and according to them, they made no changes to the PS4 Pro version of the game.

Recently, Ali Hasoon, a producer at DICE, confirmed that a future update will bring some changes to the game’s progression system. However, he did not specify that what changes will be made to the progression system.
Changes to the progression system will be a pleasant change for the fans as it leaves so much to be desired for players who want things to be more meaningful and deep.
