With a post on the official Xbox website, new free content for Gears Of War 4 has been announced.
More specifically, new Gears Of War 4 maps have been announced, shown in two short videos that you can find below.

However, fans of the series have been asking for crossplay between PC and console for a long time, so The Coalition announced a crossplay weekend for Gears Of War 4.
We don’t know what comes next after – this weekend is an incredibly important first step in this process. Once we use the combination of data we have taken and your feedback together, we’ll be able to make an informed next step (or not as the case may be). The key thing that we want to stress is surprise changes are not happening just after this weekend.
Cross-play is an interesting feature, that could take gaming to a higher level, especially between different consoles.
There’s nothing coming in the near future, but companies are working hard to make this dream come true.
New Gears Of War 4 maps will be added to the game within the end of this month. Christmas events are coming too.
Gears Of War 4 is already available for Xbox One and Xbox One S.
