One of the developer from Infinity Ward recently leaked on Twitter the official Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC release date.
According to his tweet, this DLC is going to release on January 31, 2017 for PS4 and PS4 Pro first, because of deal between Sony and Activision.
This tweet has been since deleted.
Is this an indirect confirmation?
Besides Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC release date, the SAG-AFTRA strike actually helped to know more information about the next chapter of the COD series.
Thanks to a secret document shared online, we now know that the next COD will be probably called Call of Duty: Lethal Combat, and is being developed by Sledgehammer Games.
Also, Activision wanted to go back on the series’ roots with next installment, so the futuristic setting will be dropped as Lethal Combat will be set during Vietnam war between 1955 and 1975.
This company has been blamed by the fans multiple times as they thought that latest chapters didn’t lived up to the series standards, being repetitive and lacking innovation.
Whether it’s true or not, they tried their best to make Infinite Warfare a good game, also adding the Modern Warfare Remastered to a special bundle.
What do you think about this question?
Should Activision really go back in terms of settings and gameplay? Or is it better to follow this futuristic path instead?
