The first ever Forza Horizon 3 expansion pack, “Blizzard Mountain”, has been announced by Microsoft. The pack, which will be releasing on December 13, will have new racing courses, new cars, and even new racing events for players to use to race their friends and computer-controlled AI on the new courses.
The Forza Horizon 3 expansion will be including eight cars to begin with: the 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX, 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck, 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4, 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B, 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck, and the 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car.
These eight cars will all be able to be used to drive down the new courses that will be coming with Blizzard Mountain, all of which give the expansion its name as you drive down snowy mountain slopes in races. All of these races are also part of a new series of races called the “King of the Mountain” campaign, designed specifically for the DLC.
Thirdly, the Forza Horizon 3 expansion will also include a few new race modes, along with 28 new achievements that are all worth 500 points together. Three of the new races are Hill Climb, Descent, and Blizzard, which are also all intended to take advantage of the mountains, likely racing as you go down a mountain, up a mountain, and drive through a blinding snowstorm (though that’s not confirmed yet). Those are only three of the race modes we’ll be getting, too.
Considering that December is just around the corner, players will soon be able to play the new Forza Horizon 3 expansion when it comes out on December 13, so in the meantime players can wait for the expansion pack to come out, if they didn’t buy the game’s season pass and will just be able to download the pack when it comes out.
