Update: The website refunding Switch preorders so it seems Nintendo took action and stepped in.
Original Story: We are back, once again, with Nintendo Switch price rumors.
At the beginning of this month, an unknown source from within UK retailer GAME claimed that Nintendo Switch could have two versions: the first one called standard should cost around 199£. The second version, called deluxe edition, should be 249£.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed ever since by Nintendo, but these leaks could be confirmed by a fresh new rumor.
Online retailer GameSeek, in fact, has listed a pre-order for Nintendo Switch at £198.50, also adding a “pre-order price guarantee” option, that will allow buyer to pay lesser if the price goes up.
This is an important rumor, stressing that Nintendo Switch price could be something around 200£.
By the way, one of the launch title for Nintendo Switch could Skyrim: Special Edition.
Nintendo never confirmed a partnership with Bethesda, at least until Tom Howard said that Skyrim Switch version was probably going to happen.
“I love it. I had the chance to play with Nintendo Switch and the experience I had was just fantastic. Probably the best demo I’ve ever seen at E3. It’s really smart what Nintendo is doing with this console and I’m proud to say that Bethesda is going to be supporting it. It’s the first time we’ve done something on Nintendo. Talking about Skyrim, it’s the same game on the TV and on the other screen.”
Well, it would be pretty good to see a game like Skyrim on a handheld console.
Now we can only wait to see if Nintendo Switch will stay true to people expectations.
Nintendo Switch is releasing in 2017.
