The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s biggest system sellers. The latest installment, Breath of the Wild, has been in development for a long time for the Wii U. Only recently, it was also confirmed for Nintendo Switch aka Nintendo NX.
Developers are targeting a 2017 release window but a final date has not been made official at the moment. However, according to a report from Journalist Laura Kate, The Legend of Zelda Nintendo Switch is releasing on June 16 in the UK.
She also mentioned that the Wii U variant will release later that month.

The Legend of Zelda Nintendo Switch June 16 release date from Kate comes only a few hours after the Target leak. The retailer posted a release date of June 13 on its official website. It is possible that the U.K version is delayed 3 days while the International release date is set to June 16.
Nintendo Switch is releasing in March and it was assumed that Breath of the Wild is going to be a launch title for the platform. However, the possibility is slim at this point.
Nintendo has already confirmed that it won’t be sharing any details regarding Switch and its games until January 2017. We just have to wait for Nintendo speak up about its plans for the new gaming machine.
