Pokemon Sun and Moon Release is Explosive, Millions Of Units Shipped
Nintendo and Gamefreak wanted to change the franchise with Pokemon Sun and Moon. These games introduce a lot of new stuff, but we also have good comebacks. Some people were sceptical about this move, but it seems they were wrong as Pokémon Sun and Moon release is nothing short of an explosion.
According to Takashi Mochizuki, Wall Street Journal Technology Reporter in Tokyo, these games have already shipped together more than 10 million of units. It’s literally the biggest initial shipment for 3DS games.
Pokémon Sun & Moon together shipped more than 10 million as 1st batch, Pokémon Co. says. Biggest-ever initial shipment for 3DS platform.

This is a huge result for Nintendo, meaning that change is good if you know how to introduce people to it.
By the way, Nintendo also faced some problems with Pokemon Sun and Moon.
Some hackers, in fact, succeeded in hacking the website of the company, eventually leaking games and important information about them.
Of course, Nintendo wasn’t happy with it, so they decided to respond to this attack.
Everyone who owns a pirate copy of Pokémon Sun and Moon won’t be able to access online features anymore. Whether they try entering the eShop or playing online, the system will redirect them to Nintendo’s support page, showing them an error code.
The only way to fix it is buying a new console, but I don’t think it’s recommended.
Well, at the end of the day Nintendo is having a good period in terms of general success of their brands and sales as well, with Nintendo Classic Mini being sold out early and Pokémon Sun and Moon release being explosive.
Now we only have to wait for Nintendo Switch.
