Microsoft Brags Xbox One S HDR Capabilities In This New Trailer

Microsoft has launched a new trailer for Xbox One S to boast the HDR capabilities of the console and what it can do for the games.

In the trailer, Microsoft showcased the HDR capabilities of the Xbox One S for games like Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 and NBA 2K17. However, the HDR will work for all games released for the console.

Also, the trailer showcases the simulated HDR.

The next console to release from Microsoft is Xbox One Scorpio which will launch in Holiday 2017. Microsoft has been marketing the console as the most powerful console in the world capable of true 4K gaming.

However, with such features the hardware required has to be powerful and this affects the price of the console. Industry analysts have already warned Microsft that the only thing that can cause the demise of Xbox one Scorpio is its price, according to Michael Goodman.

Similarly, Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter has also stated that it would be a suicide for Microsoft is the price for Xbox One exceeds $399.

Well, I think Microsoft would commit suicide if it was more than $399. And the problem they will face is if they launched it at $399, the PS4 Pro might discount to $349 in the same week. So I’d be really surprised if the Scorpio was more than $399.

On the other hand Xbox head, Phil Spencer has stated that Xbox One Scorpio will be a premium console and will definitely cost more than Xbox One S.

Scorpio will be a premium console, it will obviously cost more than the S, and that’s how we’re building it. We haven’t announced anything about Scorpio’s price yet, but I want to make sure that the investments that we are putting into this console meet the demands of the higher end customer, and that will mean a higher price.
