In the gaming industry, every day brings something interesting to talk about. In 2016 alone, we had No Man’s Sky scandal, Battlefield 1 distasteful meme controversy and much more. However, the highlight of the year could be what happened to a player on Sony Entertainment Network.
Watch Dogs 2 is now released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the PC version slated for November 29. Watch Dogs 2 comes with a vast open world filled with action packed scenes, strong dialogue, and even some nudity.
One of the players in the game found a very realistically rendered female genitalia in Watch Dogs 2. Well, we don’t mind looking at such discoveries but sharing it via the built-in PlayStation 4 share feature was not the best idea. Sony got hold of the “reveal” and suspended the player’s account for a month.
Female genitalia in Watch Dogs 2 was not the problem for Sony but sharing it via PS4 share violated Sony Entertainment Network Guidelines.
We’re writing to inform you that your Sony Entertainment Network account has been temporarily suspended.
We’ve made this decision based on your online activity in Live from PlayStation on 15-11-2016.
The suspension will last 1 month and will be lifted on 15-12-2016. You won’t be able to access online multiplayer, PlayStation Store and other network features until the suspension is over.
We take the decision to suspend an account very seriously, and we only do so after one of our moderators has carefully analysed the situation. PlayStation Support therefore cannot overturn this moderation decision.
We ask all our players to act decently, respectfully and with consideration for us and other players while using PlayStation Network. To make sure you understand the behaviour we expect from our community, please review the Code of Conduct here before returning to PlayStation Network. Please be aware that any further breaches of the Code of Conduct may result in a longer suspension or even a permanent ban.

This is what happens when you hit “I Agree” without reading the terms and conditions. Ubisoft has confirmed that it will be removing the genitalia from Watch Dogs 2.
