Watch Dogs 2 Side Operations Guide to help you complete Paint Job, Pink Slips, Proviblues, and Ripcode in the game.

There are a total of 22 Side Operations in the game. The operations vary in difficulty and length. While some of them simply consist of carrying out a simple hack, others require in-depth investigations.

For the purpose of this guide, I have barely touched the storyline of the side operations to keep things as spoiler-free as possible.

Watch Dogs 2 Side Operations Guide

In the Watch Dogs 2 Side Operations Guide, we have detailed everything you need to know to complete Paint Job, Pink Slips, Proviblues, and Ripcode.

Paint Job

The operation unlocks after the completion of Main Operation – CyberDriver. To start, meet Sitara on an office roof located one block south of Pier 39 in San Francisco. It is the building with the billboard.

The operation basically requires you to paint twelve hotspots across the Bay Area. The locations are at elevated points which is why you must figure out how to get to them. I have shared all the locations with you after the break.

  • Lombard Street
  • Cathedral on the North Beach
  • Kodaprint Building, Directly Under the K Sign
  • Plaza Rooftop Directly Above 10 Donuts Coffee
  • Above the Haight-Asbury Legs, West of Painted Ladies
  • Retail Office Block on the West Side of the Blume Arena
  • Clocktower on the North Side of Oakland Supreme Court
  • The Parking Area Located One Block South of Nudle Campus
  • The Warehouse Rooftop Near the Freeway, West of South Park
  • Construction Area on the East Side of Pacific Renaissance Plaza
  • Office Tower Located One Block South-West of Haum Data Center
  • Office Building on the South-West Edge of the Millennium Building in Palo Alto

With the aforementioned locations out of the way, head over to the Golden Gate Bridge and publicize DeadSec on it to conclude the operation.

Pink Slips

In order to start the mission, you need to find a man in one of the locations. The first possible location is near the park restrooms, across the cathedral near the south-west edge of Coit Tower.

The second location is outside the Pharmingtons Store in North Beach, near the south side of Coit Tower. The final possible location is directly under the skyscraper located to the north side of Embarcadero Center.

Once you have successfully hacked the man, head over to the Pharmingtons Store in North Beach and head to the backside alley. Once there, hack the Network Bypass, and hack the laptop via ctOS box.

Finally, you simply need to hack the company’s finance computer. There are multiple approaches you can use in order to complete the final step. Do so and you automatically complete the operation.

To start the operation, you need to speak with Ben Williams in one of three possible locations. The first one is the tourist stand near the south-west edge of the Ferry Building. The second one is Quinkie’s Coffee Shop near the north-east edge of Transbay Center. And the final one is outside Burritos Café.

In order to grab the password, you need to hack Proviblue employees. The first one is found outside the Proviblue Bank, but he is not the man you seek. The second one is found directly outside the Landwire Telecom Building.

Once you are done, you need to hack into the Proviblue server which can be accessed from the guarded alley on the south-east edge of Connelly Square. With that out of the way, you need to get the GPS data which can be acquired from the covered parking lot which is located to the alley southeast of Connelly Square.

Once you have the data, you need to download both CFO’s and CEO’s data which can easily be done by following them. With the data in your hand, you automatically conclude the operation.
