Major Nelson Shares Black Friday Xbox Deals 2016 On New Consoles, Games
Larry Hryb, the Director of Programming for Microsoft and also known as Major Nelson, announced a variety of Black Friday Xbox deals that are coming up next week, on the day after Thanksgiving. These deals include everything from console bundles to discounts on various games both physically and through Xbox Live.
Hryb’s post on his personal website let Xbox owners know all of the best deals, including being able to buy the Xbox One S for $249 dollars, its lowest price ever. Other console deals include getting 50 dollars off on a 1 Terabyte memory Xbox One or Xbox One S.
Other Black Friday Xbox deals include ones on games, like getting 25 dollars off on a purchase of Gears of War 4, which is also bundled with the other Gears of War games, all of which can be played on your Xbox One thanks to the Xbox Live’s backwards compatibility service. You can also get 20 dollars off ReCore, the latest game from Keiji Inafune.
All of the above deals are available at the Microsoft Store or any participating retailers, but that’s not all of the Black Friday Xbox deals that gamers will be able to experience when Black Friday rolls around. Gamers can expect to see Black Friday deals on over 250 different games, movies, and TV shows, along with exclusive digital offers for members of Xbox Live’s Gold program.
For instance, Xbox Live Gold members will get early access to the Black Friday deals, which start November 18 and will go to November 28. Other Xbox Live members will have access from November 22 to November 28. Gold members will also have 10% more on their purchases.
With Black Friday coming up next weekend, even people outside of America where Black Friday isn’t normally a thing can likely log into the Xbox Store and get some of the Black Friday Xbox deals.
