Nintendo has revealed its much anticipated and rumored console, Nintendo Switch, but the company did not reveal much about the console except for its third party publishing and developing partners.
Furthers details like its pricing and the release date will be revealed during Nintendo Switch presentation in January, but an online retailer might have revealed the price for the console.
The price for Nintendo Switch was spotted on a Canadian website of Toys “R” Us. The price listed for the console is $329.99 in Canadian dollars which make it roughly $245. The price for the console could be somewhere around $250 and possibly €249 for Europe. However, this price could also be a mere placeholder price for the console.
Nintendo has also announced that fans will be able to play games on Nintendo Switch before its release. The console will be available and playable during the upcoming Tokaigi Japan Game Party 2017, organized by the local Japanese streaming portal. The event will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, from February 11 to February 12.
Also, a report about the console is making rounds on the internet. The report suggests that Smash Bros will be ported to Nintendo Switch but will not be available at the launch of the console and Nintendo is looking to release the game within 6 months after the console’s launch.
Another rumor that is running wild on the internet suggests that Mario 3D will be the launch title for the console instead of Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. According to the report, Mario 3D is practically complete and has a better chance of being a launch title.
Nintendo Switch will launch in March 2017 but no specific release date or price has been announced by Nintendo.
