Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare update 1.04 has been released onto the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One, adding in a few new taunts for the various combat rigs in the game, camo adjustments to weapons, and new game modes, including the highly-requested “Infected” mode, which operates much like the “Infection” game mode from the Halo series.
The update adds in the “Surgical Strike”, “Drop the Hammer” and “Pineapple Toss” taunts for all rig combat suits that you get in the game’s multiplayer, along with new, unique taunts for certain other combat rigs.
Also included in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare update 1.04 are a few new updates to the game’s camo system. Camos now only cover a few small parts of the weapon rather than the entire thing, and the camos themselves will also look more worn now.
Finally, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare update 1.04 has added a new mode to the game, specifically the “Infection” mode that operates much like the Infection game mode from Halo, which pits zombies against humans until every human is infected, until either the humans survive a set time limit or the zombies infect everyone.
1.04 is the fourth update to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare that’s been added to the game, with Infinity Ward patching bugs or making balance adjustments to the game as they come across them.
Another one of the updates also added the ability for the game to play 4K resolution in order to make it playable on the Playstation 4 Pro, which the game will be available on when the console comes out.
If you want to buy Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, you can buy it on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC (though for PC I heavily recommend getting it on Steam instead of the Windows Store, since you can’t play with other PC players if you buy it off the Windows Store). You also get the remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare along with it.
