With the launch date of the Playstation 4 Pro finally here, Sony has updated the list of Japanese Playstation 4 Pro compatible games that will be available for players to put on their Pros when they buy them. They also updated the list with a wide variety of games that will be releasing later.
Many of the various games that will be available for the Playstation 4 Pro from Japan include such things like the licensed Musou game “Berserk and the Band of the Hawk“, the Berserk game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, World of Final Fantasy, Knack, Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X HD.
Upcoming Japanese Playstation 4 Pro compatible games include Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru, Final Fantasy 15, The Last Guardian, Yakuza 6, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, Gravity Rush 2, and Resident Evil 7.
Most of these games are highly anticipated titles, most specifically The Last Guardian, which has been in development for nearly ten years, and Final Fantasy 15, which had previously been “Final Fantasy Versus 13” and had been announced nearly as long ago.
While both titles are sure to already sell very well on the regular Playstation 4, the possibility of them looking amazing on the Playstation 4 Pro may very well help them to be a system-seller when it comes down to it, especially if they look as good as advertised on the Playstation 4 Pro.
A number of other games are slated to be coming with the Playstation 4 Pro, though whether they’ll be able to live up to the expectations with the Pro’s 4K (the new Ratchet and Clank game, while it’s being ported to the Pro, won’t be able to run at 4K due to engine limitations, for instance) is another matter.
The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy 15, along with many of the other “upcoming” titles for the Playstation 4 Pro compatible games, will be coming out either late this year or early next year.
