The Last Guardian PS4 Pro Patch Will Provide the 4K Upscaling
The Last Guardian was originally thought as a PlayStation 3 game. Team ICO announced it during E3 2009, hoping to release it in 2011. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned for the development team as they had a lot of problems and the game has been delayed multiple times. However, this title is ready to be released for PS4 and PS4 Pro, since The Last Guardian PS4 Pro patch has been announced.
With its supporting program for PS4 Pro, Sony is enhancing some of the best games available right now. Most of them have already received their patch, others will never receive one, but one thing is for sure: Sony couldn’t have lost the occasion to improve one of the most promising games for PS4.
Besides The Last Guardian PS4 Pro patch, it surely took a lot of time for Team ICO to make this game, but what we are going to see is nothing different from the original vision for the game, Fumito Ueda says.
Furthermore, he added that The Last Guardian was designed to be timeless.
Here you can find what he told to Gamespot.
We tried to follow our path, and it’s the original vision that we now see in this completed game. Sure, over the course of years, a lot of things have changed. But we knew from the very beginning that we wanted to create a game that was timeless, something that was going to last a very long time. I think Sony understood that from the very beginning and how important it was for us. It really did matter for the Last Guardian that we’ve stayed true to the original vision and carried that out.
The Last Guardian is releasing in December 6, 2016 for PlayStation 4 only.
