The launch of Final Fantasy XV is getting closer and fans of the franchise are excited to get their hands on the game. However, Square Enix has a surprise for its Japanese players base, as the company has announced a new Final Fantasy XV demo
During the latest Active Time Report broadcast, Final Fantasy XV game director, Hajime Tabata, announced that a new Final Fantasy XV demo is coming to the Japanese PlayStation Network and Xbox Store.
The Final Fantasy XV demo is called Judgement Disk and will be available in Japan on November 11, tomorrow. The demo will include the game’s opening and the first half of the game’s first chapter, However, progress can not be carried over to the full game and the demo will feature one and a half hour of playtime.
The demo will only feature the easy difficulty.
No word on the western release of the demo and it seems that it will be exclusive to Japanese PlayStation Network and Xbox Store. But users outside of Japan will be able to download it, by using a Japanese account.
Completing the Final Fantasy XV demo will reward players with a special video for the game, but no details were revealed about the video.
In addition to Final Fantasy XV, Square Enis has also announced Final Fantasy Legends II for iOS and Android. Takashi Tokita will be filling the role of the game director for the game, and calls the title “Rebirth”.
Currently, no release date has been announced for the game, nor it has been confirmed that it will launch in the west.
Final Fantasy XV is an open world action RPG developed by Square Enix and launches on November 29, 2016 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
