If you were looking for more stuff on this game, here you can find new NieR: Automata screenshots provided by Square-Enix.
NieR: Automata has a post-apocalyptic setting (just like the original NieR) and it takes place after the events of the last game. It follows the tradition of the series, providing dark atmospheres and branching storylines, but there’s no direct narrative connection between this chapter and the previous ones.
The story of NieR: Automata revolves around a war between the remnants of humanity and the machine army of invaders from other worlds. Unfortunately, this invasion forced humanity to flee to the Moon as humans eventually sent down combat androids dubbed “YoRHa” to fight the invaders in a proxy war. These androids have no emotions nor true names, but they have particular attitudes, distinguishing them from their fellows.
The YoRHa are commanded from the Bunker, a famous base in orbit above Earth. This base will be crucial in the battle against machines.
