To celebrate tomorrow’s Early Access launch for Dishonored 2, Bethesda and Arkane Studios have launched the game’s official launch trailer.
Just when I started wondering where the Outsider – the being who bestowed Corvo with his supernatural abilities in the original Dishonored – was the launch trailer brings him to light, asking Empress Emily Kaldwin to accept his gift.
Dishonored 2 Launch Trailer is Here
The Outsider also recaps some of the events from the original game so if you have yet to pick it up, I would suggest avoiding the trailer some potential spoilers. If you are still reading this, the launch trailer also shows the usurper Delilah turn Corvo into stone. While it is a long shot, this can be the result if we decide to play as Emily and vice versa.
The trailer also shows us the extent of powers at Emily’s disposal and different techniques using which she can smite her adversaries into oblivion.
You can check out the launch trailer attached above and share your impressions with us in the comments section below!
Xbox One users who are planning to get a physical copy of the game will be required to download a day-one patch weighing in at 9GB. We currently have no details as to what the patch will bring, but we will make sure to share more as soon as we learn anything.
As for users who own a digital copy of the game, they should be able to preload the game for all platforms, as confirmed by the game’s official Twitter account. To read up more, head over to the post!
Dishonored 2 is scheduled to release on Nov. 11, 2016 for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
