Mass Effect: Andromeda Features Include a New Skill Tree, The Last of Us Like Cover System Introduced
After so much teasing, showing behind the scenes footage, and dropping bits and pieces of information, Bioware finally showed what the next Mass Effect game would be like. It looks amazing and can potentially be the best in the series.
There are plenty of new Mass Effect: Andromeda features that have been revealed since yesterday. For instance, we now know that the game is ditching its class based system in favor of a wider skill tree for Ryder. Ryder can pick different skills to specialize. This means that choosing certain types of abilities and skill will unlock bonuses for that particular play style. Here you will grab titles similar to old classes of Adept and Vanguard.

Moreover, due to “narrative reason” you will have to adjust your setup at certain points in Mass Effect: Andromeda. The multiplayer on the other hand is using a class-based system and offers a four-player co-op experience.
Join the APEX Forces. Multiplayer in Mass Effect Andromeda places you into a class-based, 4-player co-op fire-team experience. Team up with three of your friends to take on the enemy threat and protect the interests of the Andromeda Initiative.
The cover system is similar to the one we saw in Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. It is dynamic but you will also be able to combine that with jetpack ability to dash and hover. Aside from combat, new Mass Effect: Andromeda features include heart, head, professional and casual range of dialogues. The classic paragon/renegade system is no more.

Last but not the least, there are plenty of romance options; in fact, it is being said that this new Mass Effect game has more romance options than any other BioWare game to date.
Mass Effect Andromeda is rumored to be releasing on March 21, 2017. EA has confirmed a Spring 2017 release but a final date is yet to be announced. Andromeda is listed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Origin PC.
