PlayStation 4 Pro’s launch is just around the corner and Sony has already revealed the list of games that will support the console at launch, and Square Enix’s episodic Hitman is among them. Now developer IO Interactive has detailed the enhancements Hitman will be getting on PS4 Pro.
According to IO Interactive, Hitman will have a whole new layer of detail, game’s overall resolution will be enhanced, reflective surfaces will be improved and more detailed lightning effects will be included. Also a much better anti-aliasing solution will be used.
Players can look forward to a crisp and clear UI which will be rendered at native 4K resolution. Hitman will also take advantage of the increased GPU memory to stream high quality textures that will result in added detail to the game. All of this, and the FPS will not be effected, developer IO Interactive has confirmed.
With Hitman, we made a live game which is constantly improving and the PS4 Pro aligns perfectly with that vision of constant improvement; we’re proud to support it.
Those who don’t have a 4K TV to take full advantage of the console, Hitman on PlayStation 4 Pro will still have higher quality shading and less flickering highlights for a 1080p displays.
Aside from the games that will support PS4 Pro at launch, Thekla Inc has announced that their puzzle game, The Witness, will also support PlayStation 4 Pro. The Witness will feature two display modes, first is native 4K at 30 FPS and the second is 1440p at 60 FPS upscaled to 4K.
Other games to support PlayStation 4 Pro at launch include Infamous: Second Son, The Last Of Us, Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare, FIFA 17, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and much more. In addition to already announced games, Sony has confirmed that 45 more games will be available by the end of the year.
PlayStation 4 Pro launches on November 10, 2016 and will be priced at $399.
