Titanfall 2 Drydock Map Guide to help you get to know about all important jumps & spots on the map alongside tips for all game modes.
You should be able to find numerous interlinked corridors and rooms that should allow pilots to quickly get out of a tight situation and flank enemies. Titans, on the other hand, should be able to roam out freely in the open and have clear lines-of-sight in multiple areas.
Titanfall 2 Drydock Map Guide
In our Titanfall 2 Drydock Map Guide, we have provided an overview of everything you need to know about the said map along with tips for different game modes.
This double-storey building is a rather small area, but you should try and control the rooftop which should provide you with a good enough vantage point. In addition to a rooftop entry, there are three other entries/exits of the office which you need to control. It is possible to do so with rather ease from the north side of the office.
Even when you are inside, the sheer amount of cargo inside makes it relatively hard to see what is coming, so it is advised that you remain alert at all times.
As compared to Foreman’s Office, the Loading Bay is an open area which encourages titan movement. If you are playing as pilot, it is highly recommended that always stay on the move in order to avoid incoming fire. You should also try and take advantage of a few pillars and wallrunning spots to gain a speed boost and confuse your opponents.
Finally, when it comes to defending this area, I highly recommend a titan looking over the entrances.
This area can easily be considered as partly identical to Foreman’s Office with some minor changes. For instance, there is more amount of cover available in the Locker Room, not to mention the fact that it is located on an elevated ground, allowing pilots to deal with titans with relative ease.
While you are in this area, you should definitely expect a fight to break out any moment because of how important this area is.
This is one of the more important locations on the map because of the amount of objectives that appear here. The bridge which is connected to the refinery provides excellent cover and lines-of-sight against enemy titans and pilots. Try to toss a grenade or two before retreating to a safe location.
This area encourages long-range battles and titan movements. I do not recommend heading inside the area alone. Even if you do not have a titan at your disposal, you should consider having a teammate alongside when passing through the area.
Game Modes Strategy
Playing Amped Hardpoint on this map requires decent coordination with your teammates. It is important to note that the central hardpoint on the map will continue to remain the battle zone throughout the entirety of the match. You should try and leave one teammate to defend your home hardpoint and try to flank the enemy – there are multiple locations which should allow you to do so.
If you are feeling confident, you can also skip the middle hardpoint entirely and head towards the hardpoint located in the enemy base. This should present you with more opportunities to set up a flank and catch enemies in the confusion.
You should not try to too hard in order to get the first dropzone. Instead, it is a good idea to take your time and try to score a few kills on enemy pilots which should provide you a decent bonus. For the next couple of dropzones, you just need to make sure that you are always on the move and not getting caught off-guard.
Your titan needs to scout for the enemy titan and engage it instead of clearing out minions waves alongside pilots. Do note that minions will sometimes hide behind cover and it is pilots’ duty to clear them out.
Capture the Flag
On this map, one flag is located in the cargo holding and the other one is located in the security building. You need to work with your team in order to discuss the route that you are taking while returning a flag. I have found the loading bay area to be fastest one. It, does, however has risks of getting caught.
While moving through this area, you need to make sure that you are not getting caught. You can link double-jumps into wallrunning using plenty of positions scattered around the area try to keep your momentum up.
