While LittleBigPlanet 3 is couple of years old, and the developers have shutdown its online component in Japan, but this PlayStation exclusive title is adding brand new feature called, Fortnightly Challenges.
Through these challenges in LittleBigPlanet 3, players will be able to select a new level to achieve the highest score possible. High scoring players will be receiving a bronze, silver, or gold pin. Also those players who appear in the first half of the score board will also receive similar rewards.
The first challenge is “Over the Line” which will continue till November 2. Players will take control of a adorable canine OddSock, and the objective of this challenge is to avoid fireballs while staying above a certain line.
“Pixel Pace” will be the second challenge, which is an auto scrolling survival game, which takes much of its inspiration from Bumblebees level from LittleBigPlanet 2. Hare-y Fists, is a more action oriented challenge that brings back the Robo-Bunny Mk. II.
Pixel Pace will be available from November 3 till 16 and Hare-y Fists will be available from November 17 to 30.
With these new challenges a number of new outfits will be available for the charming hempen creatures. The Spooky Ghost outfit will be available for £0.79/$0.99. Furthermore, two Bandai Namco themed outfit packs will be available in November and December. The first pack will include 6 Soul Calibur outfits and the second pack will include five costumes from Dark Souls 3.
LittleBigPlanet is a puzzle platformer video game franchise created by Media Molecule, the games follows the adventures of Sackboy and has a huge emphasis on gameplay then being a story driven game.
